Job summary

Reliance Recruitment Christchurch is seeking a fit, reliable Front-End Loader Operator to join a well-established chemical processing plant in Canterbury. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role where you will operate a front-end loader and perform related manual and plant-based duties.

Roster is a 7-day rotating day and night cycle, with day shift 4:00am–4:00pm and night shift 4:00am–4:00am, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Front-end loader operating experience is required.
• W Endorsement preferred.
• OSH Forklift certification is preferred or required.
• Class 2 licence is preferred.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform heavy manual work.
• Ability to work safely in a busy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating a front-end loader.
• Shovelling and moving materials.
• Loading and unloading bulk materials.
• Industrial cleaning and sweeping.
• Bulk bagging.
• General plant and production duties.
