Foodstuffs NZ is seeking a hands-on Produce Department Assistant in Timaru. You will help keep the Produce department full, fresh and looking great, rotate stock and perform quality checks, assist customers and work as part of a busy team, and diligently follow food safety and health & safety procedures.

The role suits someone with a positive attitude, a passion for customer service, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• The ability to follow a strict food control plan.
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for customer service.
• Be a team player who can also excel when working independently.
• Be reliable and physically fit (you’ll be on your feet all day with some heavy lifting).
• Have initiative to plan and prioritize your day.
• A willingness to learn and grow.

Hours:

Friday & Saturday 11am - 8pm

Sunday & Monday 8am - 4.30pm
