Tegel in Auckland is hiring a Process Worker for our Further Processing team at the Henderson site. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, supportive team and contribute to processing chicken to quality standards in a chilled environment.

We offer two shifts (Days or Nights) on a rotating roster with 12-hour shifts across three days, Monday to Saturday. Focus on accuracy, safety and teamwork, with on-the-job training and weekly pay.

Competenze

• Previous experience in production/manufacturing or warehousing.
• Physically fit for hands-on processing work.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping.
• A food safety qualification will be highly regarded but not essential.

Join our team as a Process Worker in one of our chicken processing departments! You'll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic, and supportive team environment where collaboration is key. Currently, we have an opportunity available within our Further Processing team. This role is based in our processing plant in Henderson, West Auckland.

Working Hours

Within Further Processing, the team works 12-hour shifts over 3 days - 36 hours. We operate a rotating roster, and therefore, you must be flexible with the days you work from Monday to Saturday.

Shift Pattern

We offer two shifts in Further Processing - Days or Nights.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehousing environment is essential
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on processing work
• A focus on attention to detail and comfortable working in a team environment
• Be reliable, with a good attendance and timekeeping record
• A quality/food safety qualification will be highly regarded, but not essential
