Job summary

Open Home Foundation seeks a part-time Foster Parent Recruiter for the West Coast Service Centre. The role is 10 hours per week, mainly remote with regular office visits in Greymouth to meet the manager and team.

The successful candidate will need strong communication, marketing knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with a NZ driver’s license and alignment with the foundation’s Christian Kaupapa.

The Open Home Foundation (OHF) is a Christian Community Response and has a vision that every child and young person has the opportunity to grow up in a secure, loving family and receive a depth of care which will bless them throughout their lives.

The Open Home Foundation is seeking a part-time Foster Parent Recruiter to join our West Coast Service Centre, this position is 10 hours per week. The role is primarily work from home, with a requirement to come into the office in Greymouth regularly to meet with the manager and team.

The successful person will have the following:
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Marketing knowledge and skills and/or a relevant qualification
  • The ability to work alone and also as part of a team.
  • The ability to develop and outwork project plans.
  • To work weekends & evenings as required
  • An in-depth understanding of how the role recognizes the special relationship between Maori and Tauiwi and has a strong empathy with the organization’s special character.
  • A full New Zealand driver's license is essential.
  • An alignment with the Open Home Foundation’s Christian Kaupapa.
