Job summary

Gunn Talent in Auckland is seeking a Warehouse Hand (General Cover) to support daily warehouse operations, unload deliveries with a forklift, check incoming goods, and organise stock in storage.

You will maintain a tidy, safe workspace, assist with stock counts, prepare items for outgoing orders, and help drivers load their vehicles. A valid NZ Class 1 driver’s licence and a forklift licence are essential; flexibility to cover different warehouse tasks is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have NZ Class 1 driver's licence.
• Current forklift licence.
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit.
• Capable of lifting heavy materials.
• Willing to learn inventory systems and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Unloading materials from trucks using the forklift.
• Check that the correct goods have arrived in the right quantities.
• Organising new stock into its correct place in storage.
• Ensuring a tidy and organised storage area is maintained.
• Assist with stock counts and stocktakes and help keep stock records accurate day to day.
• Prepare accessories for outgoing orders in a timely fashion.
• Assist drivers in loading their vehicles.
• Provide flexible cover across warehouse tasks as required.
• General housekeeping - working with the team to make sure the workspace is tidy and safe from obstructions.
