Job summary

Tradestaff Hawke’s Bay in Hastings is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician to service, repair and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment in a hands-on role.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, carry out preventative maintenance and keep accurate service records. A current NZ driver's license and strong safety focus are essential. Weekly pay and supportive team environment offered.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical experience with electrical and hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience servicing forklifts, heavy machinery or similar equipment.
• Confident fault-finding skills and ability to use diagnostic software.
• Current full NZ Driver Licence.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Pay rate: $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay
