Job summary

Rightmove Recruitment is seeking skilled forklift drivers for positions in and around Christchurch. You will unload and load trucks, handle inbound goods, and perform general yard duties with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Starting pay ranges from NZD 27.00 to 32.00 per hour depending on experience. Car and a valid licence are essential, with ongoing support from the Rightmove team and good weekly pay rates for reliable workers.

About the role
We are seeking skilled and experienced forklift drivers to join our team at Rightmove Recruitment. The roles are based in and around Christchurch. You will already have your F and OSH and experience driving up to 8 tonne forklifts.

The role offered is primarily unloading and loading trucks, inwards goods, and general yard duties.

Starting rate of pay $27.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

• Picking and packing orders accurately and thoroughly
• Loading and unloading of trucks with various sized loads and awkward shaped materials
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficiency and safety
• Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as forklift driver operating various sized Forklifts
• Experience in loading and unloading awkward shapes and sizes of materials
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
