Job summary

Barker Fruit Processors Limited in Geraldine, NZ, is seeking a Forklift Driver / Stores Assistant for a full-time role within our busy manufacturing team. You will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly, support production with timely material supply, and ensure accurate stock records in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of forklift driving and warehouse experience.
• Current OSH-approved forklift license is preferred or must be obtained before operating forklifts.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
• Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently (OSH license preferred).
• Picking, packing and moving stock within the warehouse.
• Supporting production with timely supply of materials.
• Maintaining accurate stock control and records.
• Assisting with loading and dispatch.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
