Stand Forestry, Rotorua, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a significant integration programme. The role spans architecture and detailed implementation, working with business and technology teams in a 6‑month fixed-term assignment.

You will partner with multiple workstreams to ensure practical, secure, and maintainable designs that align with Stand’s future operating model and data strategy.

Qualificações

• Experience translating business requirements into practical solution architectures.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Forestry or field-based industry experience is desirable.
• Strong integration experience across APIs, middleware, SaaS, cloud and legacy systems.
• Broad knowledge of data architecture, systems of record and data flows.
• Experience evaluating technology and vendor options against business needs.
• A practical, collaborative and enterprise-wide mindset with sound judgement.
• Ability to simplify technology environments and reduce complexity.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain current-state, transition-state and target architecture views.
• Define how core business apps, forestry systems and data platforms work together.
• Set boundaries for systems of record, ownership, interfaces and sequencing.
• Establish authoritative data sources and reliable end-to-end data flows.
• Review vendor and internal designs, challenging unnecessary complexity.
• Support migration, cutover and decommissioning with clear ownership.
