Job summary

Tip Top, a proud New Zealand brand, is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Manager to lead our afternoon shift (Mon-Fri, 1:30pm–10:00pm) in Auckland. You will drive safe, efficient production and develop your team to achieve targets.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will champion continuous improvement, quality, and GMP. This role requires 10+ years FMCG experience and NZ residency.

Flexibility to support other shifts and cross-site collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Proven success leading teams in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and operational performance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop people and improve team performance.
• Lean Manufacturing or CI qualification preferred.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop shift teams to deliver strong performance, engagement and accountability.
• Deliver production plans safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure effective communication, collaboration and consistency across shifts.
• Improve equipment reliability through strong partnership with Engineering.
• Champion health, safety, food quality and GMP compliance.
• Monitor performance, address issues proactively and drive corrective actions.
