Job summary

Floorpride is a busy local flooring company based in Marlborough, looking for a reliable Carpet and Vinyl Layer to join the team. You will be installing carpet, vinyl, planks, laminate and other flooring products in residential and commercial jobs across Marlborough.

Key responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and professionally installing carpet and vinyl, preparing subfloors, working on new builds, renovations, and commercial sites, keeping worksites clean and tidy, and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Experience laying carpet and vinyl preferred but not essential.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.
• Reliable transport to sites.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work.

About you

• Experience laying carpet and vinyl (preferred but not essential – keen apprentices or trainees will be considered)
• Reliable transport to get to sites (company van may be available depending on suitability)
• Full NZ driver's licence
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work
• Reliable, honest, and good work ethic
• Steady 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
