Job summary

MCC Albany is seeking a Trade-Qualified Flexographic Printer to join our Albany team. This position offers two shift options on weekdays, including day shifts or late/night shifts with rotating and fixed schedules available.

You will work with a skilled team to deliver high-quality labels and maintain efficient, safe production. You will operate advanced print technology, troubleshoot machinery, and uphold strict quality controls while recording production data.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified (Certificate IV in Print or similar).
• Experience in Flexo or Web Offset printing.
• Experience with highly embellished reel-to-reel labels is an advantage, but not essential.
• Previous experience in the printing or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong quality control skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Inspect components and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
• Uphold quality assurance practices and maintain accurate production records.
• Support and train Assistant Printers, coordinating daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printer who values working alongside a skilled and supportive team of craftspeople. Our operation runs across two shifts, Monday to Friday (5 days day shift or 4 days late to night shifts - Rotating and Fixed Shifts available).
