Job summary

Deloitte New Zealand is seeking an experienced Advisory Manager to join the Technology Strategy & Transformation team. You will work in a client-facing capacity across multiple industries to design technology strategies, operating models, and transformation programmes.

Your role combines structured problem solving with stakeholder engagement and practical recommendations. The position requires leadership in engagements, strong communication with senior stakeholders, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

6+ years’ experience in consulting, advisory, or professional services with advisory/stakeholder-facing impact.
Demonstrated history of working with senior stakeholders to influence and align on technology priorities.
Good understanding of core technology and enterprise architecture concepts through practical experience.
Exposure to a range of enterprise technology systems and solutions (ERP/HRIS/FMIS/CRM/BI, etc.).

Responsibilities

Manage advisory engagements for clients including resources, budgets, scope, and deliverables.
Provide people leadership and coaching to project teams.
Design, facilitate, and translate outputs of workshops to drive alignment and investment outcomes.
Lead the development of technology strategies, operating models, and transformation programmes.
Advise executive teams and boards with structured recommendations and clear storytelling.
