Job summary

Waikato-Tainui is seeking an organised, proactive Te Akura Administrator to join the Heritage & Identity team in Hopuhopu. Reporting to the Te Akura Lead, you will coordinate the Te Akura application process, manage records, CRM data and stakeholder communications, and support governance and capability-building activities.

Qualifications

  • At least three years' experience in administration or programme coordination.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, events or training programmes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining databases and records; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for Te Akura enquiries and coordinate responses.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end administration of the Te Akura application process.
  • Maintain application records, databases, CRM systems and stakeholder communications.
  • Track applications and follow up outstanding information and documentation.
  • Coordinate workshops, training sessions, hui and capability-building activities.
  • Manage registrations, logistics, communications and event administration.
  • Prepare reports, application summaries and programme updates.
  • Support governance and advisory committee meetings through agenda preparation, meeting coordination and minute taking.
  • Assist with funding administration, due diligence documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional experience for Marae, Paakihi and applicants throughout their Te Akura journey.
