Job summary

Peg2 Limited is seeking an Early Childhood Relief Teacher to support kaiako with daily routines and activities for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in a busy centre. You will engage tamariki in play and learning experiences, while contributing to a clean, safe environment and wearing a flexible, reliable mindset.

The role suits someone with a caring, fun-loving nature, strong English communication, and a passion for Kiwi early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Reliable and available, often at short notice.
• Experience with children under 5 preferred.
• Able to work up to 8 hours a day, and during school holidays.
• Committed to building strong relationships with children and whānau.
• Enthusiastic about creating fun-filled days for tamariki.
• Warm, caring nature and confident in English.
• NZ residency or NZ work visa is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Kaiako with daily routines and activities.
• Engage children in play and learning experiences.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment; perform cleaning duties as needed.
