You will build respectful relationships, follow care plans, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in community care roles.
• Experience with disabilities or mental health needs is valued.
• Ability to commit to regular shifts and weekends.
• Full New Zealand driver\'s licence and confident driving service vehicles where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support to individuals in community, residential and healthcare settings.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and community participation.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families and networks.
• Support individuals with disabilities, mental health needs and complex care requirements.
• Provide calm and professional assistance during challenging situations.
• Promote independence, dignity, wellbeing and inclusion.
• Encourage clients to achieve personal goals and meaningful lifestyles.
• Follow care plans and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with healthcare teams.
• Deliver reliable, person-centred care across settings.
