Job summary

Merchant 1948 invites an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager for our Hornby Outlet to join a growing New Zealand family business. You will help set up the new store, drive performance, coach the team, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

The role is fixed-term until 23 May 2027, with weekly hours of 38.5 and an hourly rate of 27.00 NZD plus bonus potential. You’ll lead by example, energise a team, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining store presentation and stock

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Assistant Store Manager on a Fixed-term contract to support the new Merchant 1948 Hornby Outlet store. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to set the shop up, drive performance, coach the team, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience.
