Job summary

Repco in Auckland, part of GPC Asia Pacific Movement, is seeking a Branch Supervisor on a fixed-term contract until 14 July 2027. You will report to the Branch Manager, act as a key point of contact for customers and staff, and help implement new initiatives on the shop floor.

You will drive sales, motivate the team, and uphold customer service standards daily, including accurate product advice and safe, tidy presentation of the branch.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervision or leadership role.
• 2+ years’ experience working in retail or a related trade position.
• Knowledge or understanding of automotive products (or willingness to learn).
• Effective communication style at all levels.

About the role

In this role you will report to the Branch Manager and be their eyes and ears on the shop floor. You will help to introduce new initiatives into the branch and be a key point of contact for both customers and team members. In addition to this, you will uphold customer service standards daily and assist them in finding the best product to meet their needs.

Specific duties include

• Supporting the Branch Manager to drive sales and improve store performance
• Motivating and organising staff daily to create a great team culture
• Providingexceptional customer service and accurate advice to our customers
• Processing retail and trade sales
• Building strong relationships with key customers and team members alike
• Maintaining a high standard of branch presentation
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home
• Note, this role will require lifting, bending & climbing

Who we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a supervision or leadership role
• 2+ years’ experience working in retail or a related trade position
• Knowledge or understanding of automotive products (or willingness to learn!)
• Effective communication style at all levels

• Excellent attention to detail.
