Job summary

Fire Security Services – Hamilton, on the North Island, is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Estimator to lead estimating, quoting, and end-to-end delivery of sprinkler projects, including remedial works from inspections and compliance requests. You will join a small team and pass on your experience while preparing and delivering quotes, planning your week to keep the work pipeline full.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of fire protection experience, including estimating.
• Strong knowledge of NZ Fire Sprinkler Standards and compliance requirements.
• Project planning and organisational skills.
• Accountability and ownership.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient with Excel and general computer skills.
• Hold the right to work in Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates and quotations for fire sprinkler projects.
• Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers, designers, compliance/service teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Follow all company ISO, H&S, and operational procedures, contributing to a strong safety-first culture.
• Seek ways to enhance estimating efficiency and market competitiveness.
