Job summary

South Pacific Holiday Tour Limited in Christchurch City, Canterbury, is seeking a proactive Full Stack Developer/Engineer to join our IT team on a permanent full-time basis. You will design, develop, test and maintain full stack web applications, booking engines and internal tourism platforms.

Requirements include a NZQA Level 7+ degree or 2-3 years of hands-on full-stack experience; strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Vue/Angular, Node.js, Python, PHP/Laravel or Java/C#, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with NZQF Level 7+ or higher.
• 2–3 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Strong in modern JS frameworks and back-end languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, develop, test, and maintain full stack web apps and booking engines.
• Develop secure, scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate travel APIs, payment gateways, and external feeds.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct code reviews.
