Job summary

Gallagher AJG in Wellington seeks a Broker Associate to join the FinPro team. You will provide essential administrative support to brokers, handling client account and policy queries and assisting with renewals and new business processes.

Training is provided; prior insurance experience is advantageous but not required, with study support available for NZQA Level 5 Financial Services qualification.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a NZQA Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services or be in the process with study support available.
• Ability to build and maintain client and team relationships is essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required for this administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client account, cover, and policy queries and amendments.
• Assist the Broker with administration to ensure renewals and client needs are met.
• Process alterations, endorsements and set up new policies and finance agreements.
• Provide support to clients when the Broker is unavailable.
• Prepare renewal letters after consultation with the Broker.
• Assist with premium collection within required timeframes.
• Prepare underwriter submissions and client reports for new business.
