We have a full-time Quality Controller role available to support our finfish factory operations at the Kaimoana Hub in Porirua. This is a critical role, which plays an important part in ensuring our premium seafood products meet the highest standards of food quality and safety. Under the direction of the Production Manager and QA, Compliance & Health & Safety Lead you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the fish processing procedures, implementing quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

This role offers a great opportunity for a reliable, focused and hardworking professional to gain experience in a dynamic industry; fisheries and grow their skills and experience in quality control and compliance. You must have previous work experience working in a factory, supply and/or logistics environment ideally in FMCG/Fresh Foods/Fisheries and/or manufacturing. With a good working knowledge of health, safety, quality assurance and food safety you will have an exceptional attention to detail, be highly organised and a genuine multitasker. A HAACP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. As a friendly and professional person, you will pride yourself on your ability to build trusted relationships and credibility with people at all levels. You must be process driven, keen to learn and a team player.
