Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA(SA) or ACCA designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in financial management.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and SA tax legislation.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in agriculture is advantageous.
• Willing to relocate to Queenstown, Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts, analyzing variances.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with operational managers to improve financial performance and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and system enhancements.

• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in the agricultural sector is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Queenstown, Eastern Cape.
