About the role

Based in Tauranga, this is a key Senior Leadership role within a business operating across the North Island, employing around 100 staff, growing to 200 during peak projects.

As our Finance Manager, you'll lead the finance function while partnering with the leadership team to provide strategic financial direction, commercial insight, and strong financial governance. This is a hands‑on role where you'll help drive business performance and support a company known for delivering quality outcomes to some of New Zealand's leading commercial and industrial clients.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Leading all financial operations, reporting, and compliance.

About you

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent.

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance leadership role.

• Strong commercial and strategic thinking.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• The ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.

• A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience within construction, infrastructure, or project‑based industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
