Job summary

Cloudy Bay Winery in Blenheim, Marlborough, is hiring a Business Analyst to support the Finance Director with financial analysis, forecasting and reporting. You’ll coordinate forecast processes, review reports, and analyze performance against budget to drive informed decisions.

You will work with the Finance team across the business, ensuring timely information and robust month-end activities. Strong English, Excel and ERP experience preferred in a global/complex setting.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in a business or operations analysis role, ideally within manufacturing, consumer goods or retail.
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Experience in a global, publicly listed company, or a similarly complex business environment.
• Experience in reporting, business analysis and accounting.
• The ability to analyse costs against budget and forecast, identify variances and explain key drivers.
• Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise effectively and make sound decisions.
• Mature judgement and strong business acumen.
• Integrity, trustworthiness and a proactive approach.
• The ability to manage conflict, pressure and challenging situations professionally.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
