Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an senior leader to deliver finance managed services for diverse client engagements in New Zealand. You will own day-to-day delivery, ensure quality and manage month-end, reconciliations, and reporting packs while partnering with PwC teams and clients.

The role requires senior experience in finance operations, strong people leadership, and a drive for automation and AI-enabled improvements. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting
• Commerce
• Business or Finance
• Experience leading client-facing finance delivery across multiple engagements
• Strong understanding of month-end, reconciliations, reporting and cash flow
• Commercial confidence across scope, resourcing, WIP and billing

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of client work for finance managed services engagements
• Ensure delivery meets quality, scope, risk and commercial expectations
• Manage month-end support, reconciliations, management reporting, variance analysis, cash flow visibility, and board or trustee reporting packs
• Partner with PwC Partners, client relationship teams and specialists to support senior client conversations
• Maintain client confidence and trusted relationships
• Coach and develop delivery team members through workflow allocation, quality review, feedback and capability building
• Support continuous improvement through standardized processes, controls, tools, automation and AI-enabled ways of working
