Job summary

Fonterra Te Mātāpuna is seeking a technically capable Business Analyst to join the Data & AI team, translating Finance needs into practical data analytics solutions. You’ll work across Finance, Data & AI and technology teams to deliver end-to-end data projects, with a focus on automation, reliability and smooth handovers.

You’ll bring strong SQL and Python skills, experience in data modelling and CI/CD, and familiarity with Power BI, metadata, data lineage, and cataloguing.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python skills for data delivery.
• Experience with data modelling, testing, CI/CD and release practices.
• Knowledge of Power BI, metadata & data lineage for effective handover.

Responsibilities

• Translate business demand into clear technical requirements for Data & AI initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end delivery across Data Engineering, Testing and Visualisation.
• Support planning, prioritisation, testing, release and handover while managing dependencies.
