Job summary

Halter is seeking a Finance Systems AI & Automation Specialist to advance NetSuite automation, EPM integrations, and AI-powered processes in a live finance environment. You will partner with FP&A and accounting to scope opportunities, design scalable automations, and own their delivery and maintenance.

You’ll work with NetSuite’s evolving AI features, Claude-based tools, and enterprise automation platforms, shaping how finance operates and delivers value across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping automation or AI-powered tools into production and supporting them after go-live.
• Background or interest in accounting/finance; willing to help during busy periods.
• Ability to identify where AI adds value vs. noise in a process.
• Owns work from scoping to delivery and maintenance.
• Comfort in a role that is still forming and shaping.
• Strong communication; can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy finance automations using enterprise AI tools and own ongoing maintenance.
• Track AI capabilities across NetSuite and EPM, recommending where to adopt.
• Partner with FP&A, accounting and Finance Systems to scope opportunities from processes.
• Occasionally reprioritise to unblock finance with a quick tool or automation.
• Contribute to broader finance systems work including platform upgrades and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Finance Systems to set scope and priorities as the AI specialist.
