Qualifications

• A qualification in civil construction, laboratory sciences, or a related field.
• Experience carrying out materials testing independently within a civil construction, infrastructure, or laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality processes, and technical procedures.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A keen eye for detail and the confidence to make sound technical decisions.
• A collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to safety, quality, and supporting others.

About The Role

As a Field Technician Coordinator, you’ll coordinate with field technicians, laboratories, and the quality team, while also rolling up your sleeves to undertake field and non‑destructive testing when required. It’s a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys technical work, solving problems, and keeping multiple moving parts on track.

Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme.
