Job summary

FIRST Security seeks a motivated Field Service Officer to install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment across courts, prisons, and residential locations in Rotorua. You will respond to faults, attend callouts, and work with field support to resolve issues while delivering professional client interactions.

Qualifications include a NZ Driver’s Licence, ability to pass MOJ checks, and NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Full training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to think quickly and stay calm under pressure.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check.
• A current COA or the ability to obtain one.
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Field Service Officer to join our Rotorua team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic monitoring equipment for individuals serving community-based sentences, working across a variety of environments including courts, prisons, and residential homes.

Duties:

• Installing and maintaining electronic monitoring equipment
• Responding to equipment faults and alert activations
• Attending callouts across courts, prisons, and residential locations
• Liaising with field support teams to resolve issues quickly
• Providing professional, respectful interactions with clients and stakeholders
• Assisting in other areas of the business when required
