A leading equipment dealer in Masterton is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform service and repairs on construction and forestry equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and maintaining equipment, along with relevant certifications. Qualifications

We are looking to add a Field Service Technician – Construction and Forestry, with a diesel trade qualification, to our team in our Masterton branch.

About the role:

• Perform service and repairs on various John Deere and other branded forestry and construction equipment to a high standard.
• Reconditioning of pre‑owned equipment.
• Accurately record notes on work orders for customer and warranty records.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections, including fluid and various filter changes, testing of equipment, & adjustments for infield optimisation.

About you:

• Heavy Equipment Technician or Agriculture Equipment Technician certification is an asset.
• We will also consider apprentices registered in this trade.
• Experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment.
• There is a desire to continue learning about updated equipment technology as the industry evolves.
