Job summary

Brandt New Zealand is seeking two experienced Field Service Technicians to join our Cambridge branch. You will service and repair John Deere, Lemken, Kramer and other farming equipment to a high standard, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

The role requires a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson with at least three years' experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Tradesperson with 3+ years servicing John Deere equipment.
• Skilled in diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic techniques.
• Good organizational skills and able to complete paperwork.
• Able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair John Deere, Lemken, Kramer and other farming machinery.
• Inspect and recommend repairs.
• Diagnose faults and fix per procedures.
• Engage in ongoing training.

About the role:

• Perform service and repairs on various John Deere, Lemken, Kramer and other farming machinery to a high standard.
• Perform inspections and make recommendations for repairs.
• Diagnose faults and rectify according to approved procedures.
• Undertake ongoing training.

About you:

• A qualified Mechanical Tradesperson with a minimum of three years of experience servicing and maintaining John Deere equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and failures through modern diagnostic techniques.
• Ability to perform repairs and recondition vehicle and machinery systems.
• Be well organised and able to complete paperwork competently.
• Ability to work in a team and individually.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
