Department of Conservation is seeking a Ranger for the Whangārei District to deliver field-based conservation outcomes. The role focuses on maintaining facilities and trails, pest control, and supporting conservation projects in collaboration with iwi, volunteers, and partners.

The position is full-time, fixed-term through to June 2027, primarily field-based with opportunities to develop practical skills while protecting New Zealand’s natural heritage.

Qualificações

• Practical outdoor work experience in conservation or related fields.
• Willingness to work in field-based environments across Whangārei District.
• Commitment to health and safety in the field.
