Oji Fibre Solutions Packaging is hiring a Field Operations Manager for the Bay of Plenty region, based at Mt Maunganui. The role oversees external tray erecting contractors and coordinates with Sales, Customer Services, Engineering, QC, Production and Health & Safety teams to ensure on-time supply to kiwifruit, avocado and horticulture clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in management at a Pack House, Tray Erecting site or horticulture sectors is highly regarded.
• Understanding of kiwifruit, avocado, summer fruit or horticulture sectors is essential.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support external tray erecting contractors across BOP, East Coast, Waikato and Far North regions.
• Ensure contractors follow processes, quality control, training and health & safety; implement new initiatives.
• Handle customer feedback and monitor stock-out risks; coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely supply.
• Maintain invoicing control and stock management; assist with erecting equipment maintenance in the off-season.
