Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Greymouth, New Zealand, seeks a motivated, reliable, customer‑focused individual to support daily servicing and management of drilling consumables as part of the Rock Tools Contract team. The role involves inventory control, delivering consumables to underground drills, and data collection on usage and performance.

Entry‑level applicants are encouraged; full training will be provided. A valid C Class Driver's Licence is required, forklift licence desirable, and candidates must

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management or similar role is preferred.
• Valid manual C Class Driver's Licence is required.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
• Physically fit to lift at least 45 kg and able to pass a pre‑employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels at the Greymouth site.
• Plan and deliver daily consumables to underground drills.
• Receive and store goods delivered to site.
• Collect and report data on consumable usage, performance and failures.
• Engage positively with mining operators and maintain safety standards.
• Meet EHS requirements and participate in safety meetings and inspections.
• Operate in accordance with site procedures and Sandvik standards.
