Job summary

Baycorp in New Zealand is seeking a Field Agent to service the Queenstown to Wanaka area. As a Field Agent you’ll be the frontline handling legal documents, interviewing defaulting customers face-to-face, and conducting repossession of goods in debt recovery matters with professionalism and care.

This role offers flexible hours, autonomy and the chance to work remotely across your designated region while staying connected to our Auckland CBD team.

Qualifications

• Own reliable vehicle, GPS and mobile phone.
• Current, clean driver’s license.
• Pass an annual National Police check.
• Proficiency in IT/Tablet and Microsoft Office.
• Calm, composed demeanor with time management.

About the role

We’re looking for a Field Agent to join our team to service the Queenstownto Wanaka area. As a Field Agent, you’ll be on the frontline serving legal documents, interviewing defaulting customers face-to-face and conducting the repossession of goods in relation to debt recovery and other matters all while using your skills to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and care.

This is an opportunity to leverage your critical thinking skills while creating an additional income stream, all while enjoying the flexibility, independence and freedom to work across your designated region.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Thrives working autonomously and remotely whilst being connected to our wider Auckland CBD team
• A passion and drive to be resourceful and achieve team results
• Ability to make quick and critical decisions in field and prioritise safety and risk mitigation at all times
• Great communicator and negotiator – to be able to explain situations clearly and defuse any potential and actual threatening situations effectively and safely for all parties
• Pays meticulous attention to detail and has a strong sense of honesty, integrity, common sense and emotional intelligence

Essential Requirements

• Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
• Your own reliable, well-maintained vehicle, GPS and mobile phone
• Current, clean drivers licence and the ability to pass an annual National Police check
• Proficiency in IT/Tablet and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• A calm, composed demeanour and the ability to manage your time effectively
