Job summary

RealNZ is seeking a hands-on maritime crew member to join on Stewart Island. The role operates on a 4-on, 4-off roster, helping with luggage, freight, line handling and the safe operation of the vessel.

You will serve guests, share local stories and keep the vessel shipshape, bringing energy and professionalism to the team. A NZ driver''s licence is essential, with forklift being an advantage.

Home to the famous Bluff oyster fishery, the Foveaux Strait offers a rugged, unforgettable experience - and we're on the lookout for qualified, sea-hardy crew to join our close-knit team.

As a valued member of our maritime crew, you'll help deliver memorable journeys for our guests. From serving food and drinks to sharing local stories and keeping the vessel shipshape, your energy and professionalism will shine through.

This is a hands‑on, physically active role based on Stewart Island, working a 4-on, 4-off roster. You'll assist with luggage, freight, line handling, and support the safe operation of the vessel.

What You'll Bring:

• Maritime experience and a love for the sea
• Full NZ driver's licence - essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
