Job summary

Slick Willy's in Dunedin is seeking a full-time Fashion Sales Stylist to work on the shop floor, helping customers find pieces they love and keeping displays fresh. You’ll also assist with online orders and create engaging content for our social channels.

This role suits someone passionate about fashion, with a friendly, proactive approach, able to handle a busy store and weekend shifts through the Christmas period.

Slick Willy's is an independent fashion and footwear store on George Street, Dunedin, trading since 1983. We stock around 90 local and international brands, including RUBY, Damson Madder, Caitlin Crisp, Salomon, New Balance and Adidas Originals. We're a small team, and everyone plays a real part in how the store looks, feels and performs.

The Opportunity

We're adding a full-time Fashion Sales / Stylist to the team. You'll spend most of your day on the floor with customers, helping them find pieces they love and keeping them coming back. Alongside that, you'll get involved in online orders, styling the store and creating content for our socials. It's a varied role suited to someone who loves fashion and enjoys talking to people.

A Typical Week Includes

• Styling and serving customers, from first-time visitors to long-time regulars
• Unpacking new arrivals and getting them onto the floor
• Refreshing displays and keeping the store looking its best
• Packing and sending online orders across the country
• Shooting and contributing content for Instagram

You’ll Suit This Role If You

• Have some retail or customer-facing experience, with fashion or footwear a bonus
• Know and follow the brands we stock
• Enjoy chatting with customers and building regulars
• Are reliable, take initiative and like being busy
• Can work weekends and over the Christmas period
