Farm Maintenance Worker
Location: Te Awamutu
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $30–$34 per hour + weekly pay
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out ARC welding and general fabrication repairs
- Maintain and repair farm machinery and equipment
- Complete basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose everyday maintenance issues and find practical solutions
- Use hand and power tools across a range of repair tasks
- Complete general maintenance on buildings, equipment, and site facilities
- Help keep machinery and operational areas in good working condition
What We're Looking For
- Previous hands-on maintenance, mechanical, or similar practical experience
- Confident ARC welding and general repair skills
- Good mechanical aptitude with a practical problem-solving approach
- Competent using common hand and power tools
- Valid driver licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and comfortable completing manual maintenance work
- Comfortable working in a farm environment where strong odours may be present
