Job summary

Hamilton Christian School is seeking a practical, encouraging Christ-centred technology faculty leader to guide our teaching team across materials technology, DVC, digital technologies, and food technology for Years 7–13.

You will oversee day-to-day faculty operations, workshop safety, curriculum planning, NCEA moderation, and project showcases alongside a friendly, dedicated team. NZ-registered teachers with current NZ work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching NCEA Level 3 within a Technology subject.
• Experience guiding students through NZQA Scholarship exams or portfolios is an advantage.
• Solid grasp of Te Mātaiaho / NZ Curriculum, technological practice, workshop safety protocols, and NCEA assessment standards.

Due to ongoing roll growth, we have a number of exciting new teaching and leadership roles available. We are seeking a practical, encouraging Christ-centred faculty leader – technology to guide our teaching team across materials technology, DVC, digital technologies, and food technology for Years 7–13.

• Experience guiding students through NZQA Scholarship exams or portfolios is a distinct advantage.
• A solid grasp of Te Mātaiaho / NZ Curriculum, technological practice, workshop safety protocols, and NCEA assessment standards.
