Job summary

Egmont Honey is a major player in the Manuka Honey market in New Zealand and globally. We have established a second shift for our production facility at our Bell Block office in Taranaki.

This Permanent, Fulltime role operates Monday–Friday, 15:30–24:00, supporting the end-to-end manufacturing process with the Production Manager. The successful candidate will operate modern filling and packing equipment, manage labels, liaise with the quality team, and assist with general factory duties

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packing equipment.
• Raise quality issues with recommended resolutions.
• Ensure labels for packing jobs are stocked and available.
• Provide and allocate labels for packing jobs; print labels as needed.
• Liaise with the quality team before signing off.
• General factory duties as directed by the Factory manager.
• Assist production floor tasks including cleaning, labeling, preparing and packing for export.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures.

Factory & Warehouse Assistant (Afternoon Shift)

Egmont Honey is a major player in the Manuka Honey market in New Zealand and around the world. We are growing rapidly and have established a second shift. This is a great opportunity to join our team and support ourafternoon team for our production facility based at our office in Bell Block, Taranaki.

The Factory & Warehouse Assistant role is a Permanent, Fulltime role working Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week in our afternoon shift between the hours of 15:30 – 24:00.

This is an exciting and fast-paced role within an organisation that is experiencing considerable domestic & global growth.

The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Production Manager in supporting the end to end manufacturing process of our production and packing facility.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Operation of modern filling and packing equipment

Raising quality issues to relevant staff with recommended resolution

Ensuring that labels required for packing jobs are stocked and available

Provide and allocate labels for packing jobs.

Printing labels as and when required.

Liaise and work with the quality team before signing off.

General factory duties as provided by the Factory manager.

Production floor assistance involves but is not excluded from, cleaning, labeling, preparing, and packing products for domestic and/or international export.
