Job summary

Egmont Honey is a major player in the Manuka Honey market in New Zealand and globally. We have established a second shift for our production facility at our Bell Block office in Taranaki.

This Permanent, Fulltime role operates Monday–Friday, 15:30–24:00, supporting the end-to-end manufacturing process with the Production Manager. The successful candidate will operate modern filling and packing equipment, manage labels, liaise with the quality team, and assist with general factory duties

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret batch documents.
• Strong attention to detail in packing and labeling.
• Collaborative mindset to support production and packing teams.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packing equipment.
• Raise quality issues with recommended resolutions.
• Ensure labels for packing jobs are stocked and available.
• Provide and allocate labels for packing jobs; print labels as needed.
• Liaise with the quality team before signing off.
• General factory duties as directed by the Factory manager.
• Assist production floor tasks including cleaning, labeling, preparing and packing for export.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures.
