Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking an Outdoor Cleaner Operator to maintain public facilities in Hastings. Based at our Hastings depot, you will perform scheduled cleaning of restrooms, bus stops and barbecue areas, and assist with rubbish collection and park asset cleaning.

Shifts run 5am–1:30pm, with opportunities to grow within a long-established facilities management company. You will hold a full NZ driver’s licence with manual transmission capability, be self-motivated and capable of working both

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance or cleaning role is useful but not essential.
• A current full driver’s licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle is a minimum requirement.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled cleaning and maintenance of public facilities in the Hastings area, including restrooms, bus stops and barbecue areas.
• Support the wider team with general rubbish collection and cleaning duties of park assets.
• Work early mornings from 5am to 1:30pm.

Green by Nature is a full facilities management company that operates across New Zealand and Australia, providing full facility parks maintenance and sports turf services. As part of our commitment to upkeeping the Hastings District Council, we are looking for a full-time Outdoor Cleaner Operator (also known as a Facilities Operator) to join our team.

What does an Outdoor Cleaner Operator do you ask?

Based at our Hastings depot, your role will see you take on the responsibility for scheduled cleaning and maintenance of public facilities in the area including public restrooms, bus stops and barbecue areas. The work also involves supporting the wider team with general rubbish collection and cleaning duties of park assets. You'll cover the early morning shifts which are 5am - 1:30pm.

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

• Experience working in a maintenance or cleaning role is useful although not essential
• A current full driver's licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle is a minimum requirement
• You will be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Have the desire to complete all work to a high standard, keeping your local community clean!
