Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking 3–4 cleaners to join our Wellsford depot, supporting public spaces during the busy season from November to February. Shifts vary by area and may include early or late hours, with responsibilities covering rubbish handling and cleaning public facilities across Rodney district.

Ideal candidates will hold a full, clean driver’s licence with manual transmission capability, enjoy outdoor, physically demanding work, and commit to health and safety policies.

• Willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Empty rubbish bins and operate a compactor vehicle where required.
• Clean public facilities across the Rodney district, including Wellsford and nearby areas.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.

We are now looking for 3-4 staff members. Hours & days of work will vary depending on the area you are allocated, please see examples below.

• Mon-Sat either before 7am or after 5pm (4-hour shifts)
• Sunday to Wednesday (for staff cover)
• Mon - Sat 6pm - Midnight

The roles will be based out of our Wellsford depot to support the busy summer period from November to February.

What does a Cleaner do you ask?

Reporting directly to our Team Manager, your main duties will involve either emptying of rubbish bins and operating a compactor vehicle or cleaning public facilities across the Rodney district region's such as Wellsford and Warkworth.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to jump in and get the job done. While experience in a similar role is a plus, it's not a must. The ideal candidate will have:

• A full, clean driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle (essential)
• A love for working outdoors in a physically demanding role, a good level of fitness is required!
• A strong commitment to health and safety, following our company policies and procedures
• Basic computer and smartphone skills would be beneficial
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
