Job summary

Radius Care is seeking a Property Maintenance Person to keep our Christchurch facility in top condition. You will carry out maintenance to the buildings and grounds, perform minor carpentry and painting, and coordinate with residents and management to resolve issues and oversee external contractors.

We require a trade certificate or equivalent experience, a basic grasp of safety regulations, and a current NZ Driver’s Licence. A First Aid certificate is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and building systems.
• Proven experience in minor carpentry, painting and redecoration.
• Experience in general property and grounds maintenance and repairs.
• Organised, with attention to detail and a systematic, proactive approach.
• Current NZ Driver’s License.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to attend).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility and grounds are well maintained and presented.
• Undertake minor carpentry, painting and redecorating tasks as required.
• Liaise with residents and facility management to solve maintenance issues and manage external contractors.
