Tauranga City Council is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join the Facilities Renewals team. This hands-on role covers a diverse range of council assets across Tauranga City, including community facilities, residential properties, and commercial buildings.

You will perform general carpentry, painting, concreting, roofing, fencing, plastering and renewal works, with a focus on quality workmanship, health and safety, and timely delivery.

Formación

• Inclusive carpentry knowledge and building maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with varied building methods and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work to set timelines and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• General carpentry and building maintenance
• Internal and external painting
• Concreting, including mixing, laying, and formwork
• Roofing and flooring repairs or installation
• Plastering and finishing work
• Fencing construction (timber and steel)
• Operating machinery and plant (WTR endorsement advantageous)
• Other construction and renewal activities as required
