Job summary

Metro Performance Glass is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Glass Processor to join our specialist team. The role involves glass processing and sash/adapter fabrication for our double glazing business, on a dayshift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have glazing experience, especially in sash production and aluminium joinery fabrication, plus strong measurement skills, good physical fitness, and a NZ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in glazing, especially sash production and aluminium joinery fabrication.
• Ability to measure accurately with high attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness and a valid NZ driver's license.
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Perform glass processing and sash/adapter fabrication for double glazing.
• Work as part of a small specialist team.
• Maintain accuracy and quality in measurements.
• Commit to a dayshift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an experiencedFabricators / Glass Processors to join our small team of specialists to perform glass processing and sash and adapter fabrication for our double glazing business. This is a dayshift position with the hours of work 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidates will have the following:

• Demonstrated experience in glazing, especially in sash production and assembly, and aluminium joinery fabrication
• Skilled in working accurately with measurements with high levels of attention to detail
• Good level of physical fitness
• A current NZ driver's license
• A practical approach to solving problems with the ability think on your feet and prioritize your work, without dropping the ball
• Takes pride in their work and is passionate about providing an excellent customer experience
• Great communication skills with the ability to talk with people from all walks of life
