Job summary

Metro Performance Glass is seeking a hands-on Fabrication / Glass Process Worker to join our small, skilled team in Auckland. Based in the factory, you’ll cut metal, produce sash, glaze and assemble for our double-glazing business, delivering a quality finished product.

We value a practical, reliable attitude and willingness to learn. Training will be provided. The role is day shift, 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication, sash production or aluminium joinery is advantageous
• Good attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Able to work accurately with measurements and maintain quality
• Current NZ driver’s license is required

We are looking for a hands‑on Fabrication / Glass Process Worker to join our small, skilled team.

Based in the factory, you'll be involved in cutting metal, sash production and glazing as well as assembly for our double‑glazing business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and takes pride in producing a quality finished product.

Previous experience in fabrication, sash production or aluminium joinery would certainly give you a head start, but it's not essential. What's more important to us is finding someone with a good attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn. If you're practical, reliable and keen to develop new skills, we're happy to provide the training.

This is a day shift position, working 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for:

• The ability to work accurately with measurements and a strong eye for detail
• Good physical fitness and the ability to handle hands‑on work
• A current NZ driver's licence
• The ability to think on your feet, solve problems and manage your workload
• Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to produce a quality result every time
• Experience in fabrication, aluminium joinery, sash production would be an advantage - but is not essential as full training given
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a small team
