Job summary

Luxottica in New Zealand is seeking an Area Eyecare Manager to lead our in-store Eyecare strategy from Auckland with regional travel across the country. You will coach and mentor Optometrists, raise clinical standards, and partner with regional managers and retail teams to deliver exceptional eyecare and customer experience.

The ideal candidate has an Optometry degree, at least 4 years of practice, and proven leadership with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Guide and mentor optometrists delivering best clinical examinations and customer experience.
• Lead optometry teams to build strong relationships with customers.
• Develop optometrist skills and knowledge; act as leaders.
• Ensure staff understand best practice processes, quality standards, clinical excellence, methods and procedures.
• Ensure appropriate skills, knowledge and practice has been undertaken by our optometrists in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of visual conditions, to QA benchmark.
• Working with the operations and product teams to deliver services and solutions to customers through our Optometry teams.
• Ensure customer feedback is communicated effectively throughout the business.
