Job summary

HealthCare NZ is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist clients in Paeroa with daily living activities and emotional support. The role focuses on practical help and community integration, with opportunities to contribute to clients’ wellbeing.

You will perform tasks such as meal prep, medication support, personal care, and safe mobility assistance, including hoist transfers, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or caregiving experience preferred
• Great communication skills and availability for alternate weekends
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Right to work in New Zealand; police vetting and checks may be required
